It is easy to become a Cook for a Cure Host:

What is Cook for a Cure?

Cook for a Cure is all about getting together with people while sharing a meal, from a funky sausage sizzle to an elegant dinner party. The fundraising aspect is easy: as a host simply ask your guests to consider making a donation to Cure4CF in lieu of what they would normally have spent on a night out (or if it is a big night in, on the host's gift).

Becoming a Cook for a Cure Host is Easy!

All you need to do is decide on the type of event you would like to host, send out the invites (see the Host Pack for wording suggestions) and let us know about your event by sending a quick email to events@cure4cf.org.

... and be sure to let us know if you're happy for us to feature your event on our News or Facebook page!

How does the fundraising side of things work?

When sending out your invites don't forget to include a link to the Cure4CF Foundation donation form so that your guests can easily donate online.  Alternatively, let guests know they can donate at your event and you can donate online to Cure4CF Foundation on its conclusion.

How your support helps

100% of all donations received by the Cure4CF Foundation from the Cook for a Cure event go directly to supporting the leading Adelaide-based gene research team, as they work towards finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Read more about the team's research.

"So many people are affected by the serious illnesses. It only takes a close friend or family member being diagnosed for you to realise you want to be more involved, and find a way to make a difference.

In my mind gathering family and friends together to share a home cooked meal has become an ingrained, first-line response to any hardship, and it makes sense to raise funds and awarness in a heartfelt way like Cook for a Cure"
